As part of the D.C. Language Immersion Project, the Thurgood Marshall Center, located at 1816 12th Street, NW, is scheduled to host a Bilingual Education Fair on Jan. 20 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The fair will allow parents to discover multilingual education options and fun resources that will let them bring bilingual education to their communities. All participants will receive a free CD with songs in Spanish and English from 123 Andres, a singer that uses music to teach Spanish. The event will include 50 exhibitors and five speakers. The event is sponsored by D.C. Public Schools and the D.C. Public Charter School Board. To register for the event, visit bilingualfair.dcimmersion.org.
